The tools

Pdfbg provides 8 free browser-based tools (PDF merge, split, compress, convert, background removal, image compression) free of charge, with no account required.

As-is, no warranties

The tools are provided as-is. We work hard to keep them accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee perfect conversions, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for any particular purpose. Always keep backups of important files and double-check critical output (contracts, applications) before relying on it.

Your responsibility

• Only process files you have the right to use — do not convert or strip protections from documents that are not yours to modify.
• Password-protected PDFs require the password; nothing here bypasses document security, and attempting to circumvent it violates these terms.
• You are responsible for checking converted or compressed output before sending it anywhere important.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service: no automated bulk scraping or denial-of-service style usage, no attempting to break the site, and no using the tools for unlawful purposes. We may rate-limit abusive traffic to keep the site fast for everyone.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text, and code belong to Pdfbg. Your files remain 100% yours — we claim no rights over anything you process, and since files never reach our servers, there is nothing for us to claim.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Pdfbg is not liable for any loss arising from use of the tools — including lost files. Because everything runs locally in your browser, we never hold your data and cannot recover it; keep your own backups.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
